Description
A relatively high-toned and very pinot nose that is cool
the 2011 Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco Albesani Vigna Santo Stefano had no such issues
Sweet red berry and spice notes linger on the delicate finish
the medium-bodied and concentrated flavors are even more powerful than those of the Bougros and Valmur
A wonderfully elegant and expressive nose combines a plethora of floral wisps with those of anise and clove- inflected red currant scents
Poggio Sotto, Brunello Montalcino Riserva other_regions A relatively high-toned and veryA dark, towering wine, the 2005 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is quite similar in style and personality than the straight Brunello, but it has more of a tannic spine and greater overall structure. Dark and mysterious, the 2005 is constantly changing in the glass. I imagine it will still be fabulous at age 30. This is an especially dark, almost exotic, Brunello. Antonio Galloni
